Review: Living Undesigned – Trial Kennedy


My iTunes lists Living Undesigned as ‘Punk’. Weird, because to most, Trial Kennedy is a quintessential modern Australian rock band. They have toured with big international acts such as Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard, yet are still Melbourne boys at heart. With an album, as well as critically acclaimed EPs Present for a Day and Picture Frame under their belt, they deserve to be much better known.

Review: Original Sin – INXS


For the record, I’m seventeen. I was only four when Michael Hutchence died, and most of their greatest songs were released long before I was born. However, thanks to their enduring following and revival, it’s almost impossible for any Australian over twelve to have not heard at least one INXS song.

Review: Danger Days – My Chemical Romance


It’s a revelation – My Chemical Romance has well and truly changed the game with their new album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. Despite the verbose title, true to their promise the music is well and truly stripped down. The group promised fans a “garage feel and more energy”, and they have delivered, blowing away even the highest expectations.
